Perfume of Desires by Alex Lee

LabSolue presents its olfactory celebration of Tangerine.

Originally from China, it made its way to the Mediterranean, becoming a symbol of good luck in the fulfillment of desires. Italian Tangerine's zesty qualities allow for a freshness that is joyful and deep, preserved by a process of cold pressing the vivid skin of the fruit. Taste the citrus, juicy scent, nuanced with fresh and sweet tones. A perfume full of light, sweet and vibrant. Awaken the child within you. Rediscover the pleasure of savoring simple things, the taste of play, the amazement of discovery, the enthusiasm of childhood. A scented wish, to dream with your nose open.

An Essence composed of Italian Tangerine Essential Oil, blending with the addictive warmth of pure Vanilla.

Curiosity: the Mandarin plant (Citrus Reticulata or Citrus Nobilis) is native to China, where there is evidence of its cultivation as early as 1600 BC, while it was introduced into the Mediterranean area in the Middle Ages. It owes its name to the characteristic orange colour, which recalls the particular imperial robes worn in ancient times by Chinese political officials; the term in fact derives from the Portuguese mandarim and was coined in the 17th century by Portuguese travelers precisely to designate these officials. Together with Cedar Fruit (Citrus Medica) and Pomelo (Citrus Maxima), it is one of the three "original citrus fruits", from which all the species known today derive through subsequent crossings and hybridizations. In aromatherapy it is known to induce serenity and joy, with a tranquilizing and beneficial effect on morale and balance.

SUGGESTIONS FOR USE
Using the candle: To get the most out of the candle, place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface and let it burn for 2 or 3 hours at a time, until the entire surface melts. This will prevent voids from forming in the wax later. Never leave the candle burning unattended and do not let it burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Do not move the lit candle or when the wax is still liquid. Never place the lit candle in the presence of air currents, nor in direct contact with precious or flammable surfaces. Keep the candle out of the reach of children and pets and away from curtains or other objects.

Taking care of the wick: Regularly cut the wick to the ideal length of 1 cm, to avoid the emission of smoke and the fall of the wick into the wax. After use, when the wax is still melted, if necessary gently recenter the wick to ensure uniform consumption of the wax and that the glass does not overheat at the next ignition. The wick and flame must not touch the container.

Re-using the candle: Do not burn the candle to the end; a candle is finished and should not be relit when at least 5 mm of unmelted wax remains on the bottom. At this point, it begins its second life: the glass container can be cleaned and reused as a water glass, vase for small plants and flowers, brush or pencil holder, holder for smaller candles…

Wax weight: 200 g, 7.05 OZ.

Good to know
LabSolue 102 Mandarino (Tangerine) Scented Candle is a product of Italian craftsmanship, entirely handmade in Italy. For us, the Made in Italy is not just a choice of excellence, but also a commitment to the community.

This candle requires meticulous work to balance perfume concentrate, blend of waxes, shape and size of glass container, diameter and weaving of cotton wick. All to ensure exceptional olfactory qualities and optimal burning.

The container is made of glass in Italy, designed to last over time, reusable and recyclable. The wax is produced and hand-poured in Italy and does not contain artificial dyes, its color is due exclusively to the natural ingredients of the essence. The wick is made of pure, untreated cotton braids, without a metal core.

The packaging, including the external and internal parts, is made entirely of paper, to ensure simple and correct recycling. For the same reason, we have chosen not to protect it with cellophane. The paper we use is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, to guarantee its origin from responsibly managed forests, and is recyclable.

All this to respect and promote the social and ecological needs of present and future generations.
